Opening hours

The Base café at Cable Bay Adventure Park is open year round, 7 days per week with hours depending on the season.

Normal hours are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with extended hours in the summer evenings. Over the winter months from May, our Café will be open until 8pm every first Saturday of the month for dinner and takeaways. Evening menus consist of Fresh fish and chips, burgers, curries - contact us to find out what’s on the menu as each month it will differ!

Food & Drinks

The Base café stocks a range of local beverages from the likes of Hop Federation, Eddyline, Pomeroys Tea’s and Coffee, and a selection from the Chia Sisters.

The Menu has a range of quick and easy cabinet food through to sit down menu options and daily specials. Gourmet home-made pies, slices, through to huge homemade burgers, wedges and fries. and coming back from Mothers Day, Sunday 8th, check out the traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

There is a range of Salads, soups and seasonal offerings and we have options to suit most dietary requirements including Vegan and Gluten Free.

Do I need a reservation?

No reservation required but if you have a large group or have a specific time frame you can call ahead and reserve a spot. Note that in the summer holidays especially we do get very busy. We’ll let you know at ordering if there may be a longer than usual wait.

We can also cater for functions and regularly also utilise the Skywire Café for these. If you have a corporate event or wedding and would like to discuss options see the Groups and Functions page. We can cater these with buffet or set menu options and also combine activities with these.

Cable Bay Adventure Park and all its facilities including the Base Café have Qualmark’s COVID Clean Certification
